11 "Faux Pas" That Are Actually OK To Create Using Your Robot Vacuum Deals

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.

The design is also better than the competition.  robot vacuum sale  has a sleek, high-end piece that looks like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it across the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand which other robots can't. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the ideal choice. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also have a number of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not disappoint. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone but it can help you keep the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the top available - but it's also pricey.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that does an excellent job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a robot vacuum that does it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that have the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, simply snap on one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located close to an outlet that has plenty of room to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, with sleek black finishes and three physical buttons that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in an arc for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The most important aspect that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it needs to recharge, it automatically returns to its starting point and begins cleaning where it began.

The sleek G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life, while providing better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require to be empty as often and comes with a set of boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30, however, is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as often and it's less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
